Bryce Canyon National Park

All of the images on this page are from the Fairyland Loop at Bryce Canyon, with exception of the last picture. We began our hike at Sunrise Point, proceeding down into the canyon along the trail. It was 0.2 miles to the Fairyland trailhead, then 5.7 miles around to Fairyland Point, and then 2.7 miles along the Rim Trail where it then met the Fairyland trailhead, and then back 0.2 miles to Sunrise Point. All told, we hiked 8+ miles in around 4 hours through very strenuous terrain with many, many changes in elevation. The heat was not too bad, though, which made it easier. Nonetheless, Hanna and I still managed to consume three liters of fluid each. The hike took us through Fairyland and Campbell Canyons.

The highest point in the park, this is a view from Rainbow Point at elevation 9115 feet.
