DAY #2 (7/2/2000): Pittsburgh
(Click on any picture to see the full-size image.)

The first image is my attempt to be a “modern art photographer.” The second is of a Warhol wallpaper display. The third is interactive art – several helium-filled balloons floating around the room. The viewer is invited to play with the balloons. There are oscillating fans in the room to help move the balloons around randomly.

The first picture here shows Warhol’s rendition of the Mona Lisa. Notice, from the full-size image, that he painted in tan with a white background. The second image is from his collection of skull paintings. That room was quite interesting.

In the first image, you can begin to get a feel for the number of bridges in Pittsburgh. The latter is a shot of the confluence of the 3 rivers. On the far right is Three Rivers Stadium. On the near right you can vaguely see where PNC Park is being built – the new home of the Pirates.
