Miscellaneous "Big Swing" Pictures

It was rather windy at the Sidling Hill rest area in Maryland. Nice heather on the side-hill in beyond the fence.	Ok, now, if you look very closely, you'll realize that on the right side of this picture, you're looking at Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY. Really! I had planned on pulling into the parking lot and getting a much better picture, but there were races that day, and they were charging for parking. Oh, well...
We stopped at a rest area in Utah along I-70, just out of Colorado. Man, was it hot! You can sort of see the parking area on the left in the background. Only a quarter-mile hike to this viewpoint, but when the temp is 110F+, it takes a lot out of you!	Such raw beauty, eh? Not! This is a view across the desert in Utah, facing east. The highway on the right is I-70 heading back toward Colorado.
